Summary: Love can be so much more. *Written for After the Fact's Millennium Challenge.* ------------------------------------ A MILLENNIUM LOVE LETTER Written by: Erin M. Blair ------------------------------------ January 5, 2000 Dear Mulder, I know I should be telling you this in person, but I just can't wait. My feelings can't be described by one word - our relationship's too complex for that. Love isn't a perfect word to describe our ever-blossoming relationship, but it *is* a good one. I *do* love you, Mulder, but what we have is much more special and meaningful. You're my partner in every sense of the word. I've always known this and it didn't take me long to figure it out. I've known this since the very day we first laid eyes on each other. You remember that day, don't you? I could feel your hazel eyes on me - knowing full well that we were truly meant for each other. I knew from that moment on - we felt something incredible. The *perfect* connection that time and distance could never break. My abduction and cancer attested to the strength of our bond. When you kissed me during the first second of the new year, our bond grew stronger than ever before. Mulder, you truly have my heart and my soul. I know I have yours. And no one can ever break our bond. Yours, Scully End of Vignette. Feedback: Much appreciated. Send to: eblair@sonic.net Author's Notes: This vignette came to me after a bout of writer's block. I haven't written anything about the "Millennium" episode but I wanted Scully to reexamine her relationship with Mulder. I hope you'll like it. =) I'm thinking of a sequel in using Mulder's POV. I would like to thank my beta reader, Jen, who has always been there for me.
