SUMMARY: Mulder's letter to Scully following the events in "Elegy." Companion to "Visions." *Written for After the Fact's Elegy challenge.* ---------------------------------- YOU'RE NOT ALONE Written by: Erin M. Blair ------------------------------------ Dear Scully, I know I haven't said anything to you about this. There are things that must be said, but I've been too afraid to say them aloud. I never know whether it'll be the right time to say it or not. Your fight with cancer has touched my heart deeply, but I knew how much you were touched by this case. I could see how bothered you were by those death omens. I know you haven't told me, but I figured it out by gazing into your eyes and by seeing your body language. The thing is: you're not alone. Seeing those death omens doesn't mean you're going to die soon. The visions you had doesn't mean you're going to die, Scully. You saw them for a reason. It's just not a reason that you think. Your mother had a vision of you when you were missing; your sister had psychic visions too. I remembered you telling me you had a vision of your father when he passed away. Yes, I know you have cancer. I promised you that I will help you find a cure to your cancer. I'm not going to go back on that. I have a feeling we're going to find a cure for your cancer soon. You're not alone in this, Scully. You have me. Scully, you will always have me because I love you. ~Mulder Feedback: Yes! I love feedback.
